Since launching in May 2001, First Light Movies has helped more than 10,000 young people create over 750 short digital films.

First Light Movies places young people at the heart of every project and all filmmakers are involved from the very beginning of their project. From thinking of the idea and writing scripts to filming, editing and screening the final films, it is crucial that the young people take part in every stage.
